Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or non-stick spray
  • Small saucepan
  • whisk
  • Basting brush

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 2 gloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Honey Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Frank's Red Hot Original Sauce you can add more to your liking
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.

Make the Meatballs:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, egg, milk, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.

Form the Meatballs

  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are evenly spaced.

Bake:

  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

Prepare the Sauce:

  • While the meatballs are baking, prepare the honey buffalo sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the buffalo sauce, honey, and butter. Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally until the butter is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Glaze the Meatballs:

  • Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush them generously with the honey buffalo sauce. You can also toss them in the sauce for a more even coating.

Serve:

  • Garnish with additional parsley or chives if desired, and serve hot.
