Snickers Bar Pie

I made this recipe a few years ago when my own children were young. I did not have a lot of time to bake a dessert and wanted something that was easy as well as quick to make. This is a non-bake recipe. Which made things better. Most of the ingredients you may already have in your pantry.

I allowed my young children to help with the making of this pie. I allowed them to crush up the snickers bar while I worked on the other part of the pie. Of course, you may need extra snickers in case some get eaten beforehand.

It does take 3 hours for the pie to set.

SNICKERS BAR PIE

Ingredients
  

Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, whipped
  • 6 snicker bars, chopped into small pieces

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 Snickers bar, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Make the Filling:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Stir in the chopped Snickers bars.

Assemble the Pie:

  • Spread the filling evenly into the cooled crust.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce and hot fudge sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with the additional chopped Snickers bar.

Chill:

  • Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serve:

  • Slice the pie and enjoy a delicious, creamy Snickers Bar Pie!
